Former Sindh Assembly speaker Mr. Jalal Shah To Join Sindhi Foundation To Honor Brad Sherman

Washington, DC: The Sindhi Foundation is pleased to inform you about the upcoming

event on Sunday, September 25 honoring Congressman Brad Sherman. We are

delighted to announce that former Sindh assembly speaker Sayed Jalal Mahmood Shah

will be joining us.


Mr. Jalal is grandson of G. M. Sayed a veteran secular, democratic and nationalist

leader of Sindh. The general council of Sindh United Party elected Mr. Jalal as first

president of the party.


Mr. Jalal will be discussing about the current situation of Sindh and Sindhis with

Congressman Sherman.


Since 1997, Congressman Brad Sherman has served past ten terms in the U.S. House

of Representatives. Congressman Sherman is a senior member of the House of Foreign

Affairs Committee. He is also serving as the ranking Democrat on the Subcommittee on

Asia, a Chairman Emeritus on the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and

Trade, and is a senior member of the Financial Services Committee.

Congressman Brad Sherman tirelessly supports the Sufi Sindhis. As a chair of the

Congressional Sindh Caucus, he is always pushing to build the bridge between Sindh

and USA.


Among the Sindhi community, the Sindhi Foundation is the first to honor Congressman

Brad Sherman’s efforts for supporting Sindhis.


The event will be held on September 25th, 2016 at the Westminister Presbyterian

Church at 4 PM.
